KPR IAS Academy candidates cleared IAS examination

The final results of UPSC All India Civil Services Examinations (CSE) 2017-18 were recently declared. Six candidates namely D. Dhivya (AIR 560), A. Sowmya (AIR 566), J. Aiswarya, (AIR 639), S. Karthikeyan (AIR 731), S, Premkumar(AIR 778) and C. Aarthi (AIR 786) from KPR IAS Academy, Coimbatore (with their all India rankings given inside the bracket) have successfully cleared and selected for the civil services.

The CSE is being conducted by the UPSC annually in three stages — preliminary, mains and interview. The preliminary examination (objective test) was conducted during June 2017 last year. Over 10,00,000 candidates had applied for it, but only 6 lakh plus candidates appeared for the examination. Out of which 13,445 were declared qualified for the mains examination (written test) which was held in October 2017.

Finally 2568 candidates were declared qualified for the personality test held between Feb 19 and Apr 25, 2018. On the basis of the total marks scored in the CSE mains examination followed by personality test, was taken for the final ranking.
