IRIA donates 20 Tabs to deserving girl students

Radiologists (Imaging & Scan Specialist Doctors) of Coimbatore and Kongu Region, organised an event, to donate 20 digital tablets to deserving girl students  of 10th and 12th standard, belonging to the economically deprived sections.

This gesture was done as part of “RAKSHA” program of Indian Radiological and Imaging Association(IRIA) social service activities. RAKSHA is a national program of IRIA for the welfare of “the Girl child”

The Digital Tablets were given to 20 girl students who did not have electronic devices to attend online classes, Studying in Thiagi N. G. Ramasamy Memorial Higher Secondary School, Uppilipalayam, Coimbatore.

Dr. J. S. Bhuvaneswaran, Director, PSG Super Specialty Hospital, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest. Dr. A. Anbarasu, Senior Radiologist of the city & State President of TNP & Y- IRIA was the Guest of Honour. The function was organised by Dr. Devanand. B, President Dr N. Senthilkumar, Secratary and Dr. Subashree. C, Treasurer & Coordinator of RAKSHA of Coimbatore – Kongu Region Subchapter of TNPY- IRIA. Sadhasivan, Head Master of TNGR Memorial higher secondary school, addressed the gathering.

The meeting was attended by Teachers, Students & Parents of Thiagi N. G. Ramasamy Memorial Higher Secondary School. Many radiologists of the city attended this social service event.
