We will provide vaccination assistance and free transport support

-Vanathi Srinivasan, National President, BJP Mahila Morcha

National President of BJP’s Mahila Morcha (Women’s Wing) Vanathi Srinivasan launched BJP’s Free Covid Help Center in Coimbatore on Wednesday at the party office located on VKK Menon Road near Gandhipuram, in the presence of several party members.

The focus of launching this centre is to create awareness about vaccination, help people to register for vaccination, provide free transport support to the public to reach vaccination centres, etc.

4 vehicles to assist the people with vaccination and deliver essential commodities were added to this Free Covid Help Center. After flagging off the vehicles, Vanathi Srinivasan addressed the press and said that more than 12 crore people have been vaccinated in India, and the central government is taking all possible measures to provide vaccine support to all the States.

She said unnecessary debates and comments about the vaccination are being made in the country by others in the recent times and stated that the vehicles launched today will provide answers to people’s questions and doubts about the vaccination.

“The purpose of the vehicles is to create awareness about the vaccination and also help the people to visit the vaccination points. With these vehicles and the awareness pamphlets, that we shall distribute to the public, we hope that more people will reach the vaccination centres in the days to come”

If senior citizens in a family need vehicle support to reach a vaccination point, they can contact the Help Center via phone. The transport facility will be provided at free of cost.  Vanathi conveyed that three contact numbers are provided in the pamphlets and in the party’s social media page. She said that their help desk will work continuously to provide assistance.

The vehicles will initially cover the Coimbatore South constituency but if help is sought by anyone from any other part of the city, the vehicles will be sent. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. these supports will be provided, Vanathi said.

Apart from creating awareness and clearing doubts about vaccination, a vehicle will also be dedicated to distribute groceries, medicine and other essential commodities when the public requests this assistance, Vanathi conveyed.
