Install special vaccination counters for differently-abled ! – Madras HC

The Madras High Court on Monday ordered the Tamil Nadu Government to install separate vaccination counters for the differently-abled individuals in all vaccination centres in the state, and give priority to them.

This order comes at a time when Tamil Nadu, like several other States in the country, is showing increased daily new covid patient count.

Health Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr.Vijayabaskar said on Sunday that the State Government had received 55.85 lakh doses of the two approved vaccines for Covid-19 Covishield & Covaxin as of 17 April from Union Govt.

He also conveyed that the government had completed 47.05 lakh doses and have stocked up  8.8 lakh doses for vaccination. He urged the public to not pay heed to rumours about the safety of vaccines, and get vaccinated.
