Indian girl sets Guinness Record for the Largest Spice Painting

The spice-painting of Neha Singh, a student from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Uttar Pradesh, India now holds the Guinness Record for the largest painting in the world using natural colors.

Neha’s painting is a huge tree, which has been labelled as the Tree of Salvation (Moksh ka Vriksh). It is 62.72 sq.meters (675.12 ft2) and was made on 18th of November 2020. The spices she used for the painting are those that have exceeded their expiry date, and the girl had put it to good use.

She is a resident of Kotwari village of Rasra sub-district in Ballia, UP. She is a student of Vedic Science at Banaras Hindu University and had earlier studied fine arts at the same varsity.

The official Guinness Certificate came to her hands on Sunday (20.12.2020), as per reports. UP’s Ballia District Magistrate Shrihari Pratap Shahi presented Neha the Guinness Certificate,

The earlier record for the largest spice painting was registered in the name of Shreya Tatinini, a resident of Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh who made the painting of 588.56 ft2.
