National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Civil Engineering Department of PSG iTech signed a MoU on Wednesday to share the knowledge mutually with respect to improving the infrastructure of the road stretch adopted by PSG iTech under the ambit of Institutional Social Responsibility on NH 544 (Chengapalli to Walayar).
The adoption of road stretch by the institution helps in accessing the important and necessary data by faculty and students of PSG iTech for conducting critical research activities and suggest measures to improve the quality and safety aspects of the adopted stretch.
The MoU will also help the institution to create additional laboratory facilities supporting the research related to road transportation. Dr.P.V.Mohanram, Principal, Dr.G.Chandrmohan, Vice-Principal and Dr.M.I.Abdul Aleem, Head of Department of Civil Engineering, PSG iTech along with U.Udhayasankar, Project Director, NHAI were present during the signing of the MoU.
