Minister S.P.Velumani hands over relief packages in Covai

The lockdown period in Tamil Nadu has been intensified for 4 days from 26.4.2020 till 29.4.2020. The Govt has done this to keep the spread of COVID-19 under control. Taking care of the poor during this period has also been a chief concern of the Government, and it has been providing assistance all around the State.

Minister for Rural Development and Municipal Administration S.P.Velumani met the poor and needy at Devarayapuram in Thondamuthur region and handed over relief material boxes to them on Tuesday.

He also inspected the food relief kits stored for the financially weaker sections of people in Coimbatore numbering more than 2 lakh.

The Minister tweeted that these kits will be delivered to them at their door steps in the coming days.
