The Entrepreneurship Cell of PSG Institute of Management in association with TiE, Coimbatore organized an event “Entrepreneurship Talk Series”, a platform for the students to interact with leading entrepreneurs, investors and consultants of the industry was held recently.

“The future of India is in the hands of the Students said Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam”, the hidden message is “If each and every student of the nation becomes successful individuals, India will become a developed country”, quoted K. Swaminathan, Founder & CEO, Aspire Ventures stating that, the world countries are afraid of seeing India’s youth population. But, it is worrying to see India still called as a developing nation.

Entrepreneurship is the only solution that can propel India to a developed nation. We have enough money today, but there are no innovative ideas. The country has dozens of opportunities in its hand. But it the ideas that lack and students should rejuvenate their entrepreneurial thinking says, K. Swaminathan.

He stated that, Entrepreneurship means problem solving. If a product or service solves a problem, if the people are willing to pay to solve the problem and if there is enough market to sustain then you have billion dollar idea to become a successful entrepreneur, he said to the students.

To become a successful entrepreneur read failure stories rather reading success stories. Make new mistakes don’t repeat the same old mistakes says, R. Natarajan, Chief Operating Officer and CFO, UC Ratan Tata Fund.

The timing of market decides the success or the failure of an entrepreneur.  Technology also plays a vital role for a successful entrepreneurship, he added.
