Due to the spread of Corona virus and as a precautionary measure on public safety and workers welfare Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association (CDHA) has announced that it is extending the shutdown of Hotels till March 31. All Restaurants across Coimbatore will be closed. Sivakumar, Secretary, Coimbatore District Hotel Association conveyed this detail on Monday (23.3.2020).
There are 200 + hotels in Coimbatore. With the hotels and restaurants under lockdown mode, the hundreds of food delivery partners with Zomato, Swiggy and Uber Eats may face a brief period of uncertainty.
