Rathinam College of Arts and Science signed a MoU with Logistics Sector Skill Council, Chennai (LSC) which was established by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) through National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC). Capt. T.S. Ramanujam, CEO, Logistics Sector Skill Council and Dr.Madan.A.Sendhil, Chairman, Rathinam Group of Institutions exchanged the MoU.
Capt. T.S.Ramanujam in his address to the students expressed the need of such courses in the country. He answered the questions raised by students on supply chain management logistics and other allied sectors and he also gave ideas on how to start logistics-business and motivated the students to become young entrepreneurs.
A release from the college said that the purpose of signing of MoU is to create manpower with necessary knowledge, skill, and attitude for employment in Logistics Sector. By signing this MoU, the students will be able to undergo apprenticeship-based BMS Degree Program in E-Commerce Operation for the academic year 2020-21.
