KMCH organised the Second Edition of ABC of breast cancer on 20.10.2019 in the KMCH auditorium. Senior doctors from across the state participated in the program and discussed important topics about breast cancer management like Sentinel lymph node biopsies, advanced imaging in breast cancer, breast reconstruction & oncoplasty and changing patterns in breast cancer radiotherapy.
The event was hosted by the doctors of comprehensive cancer centre and surgeons, Medical oncologists and radiation oncologists of KMCH.
On the same day the hospital also launched for the first time in India the state of the art linear accelerator, the Varian Trubeam Hyperarc in its radiation oncology department.The launch took place in the presence of Dr Shantha, Chairperson,Adyar Cancer Institute.
