The Coimbatore Chapter of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), as a part of its 51st Foundation Day Celebrations, convened a ‘FIT INDIA-FIT ICSI’ celebration at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science on 4.10.2019. The celebrations included a walkathon, blood donation and health camp.
The motto ‘FIT INDIA- FIT ICSI’ is a mark of appreciation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s desire to have a nation that is fit and healthy. So to make ICSI’s remarkable day even more valuable such activities were held, conveyed a press note.
The walkathon was flagged off by Dr.A.Ponnusamy, Principal of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science. C.S.Govindarajan, Registrar of Companies , Coimbatore was the Chief Guest. He said that people of good health have the power to turn our nation into a superpower and such people would emerge from the youth of the nation. .
