The Youth Red Cross of Kongunadu Arts & Science College joined hands with Shanthi Social Services, Coimbatore to organize a blood donation camp on 23.9.2019. A team of doctors and nurses from Shanthi Social Services assisted the volunteers of the YRC of the college in the process and collected blood. Dr. M. Lekshmanaswamy, Principal, KASC inaugurated the event.There was an overwhelming response from the staff, student volunteers and donors.
154 units of Blood were given through this blood donation camp and a certificate of appreciation was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
