The Oscars 2019 winners are right here!

Every year the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, shortly called as THE ACADEMY, honors the best films, the best cast and crew in 24 categories. Voted by members of the Hollywood Film Industry and Actors, the best in each category is honored on the star-studded atmosphere. This year the event was beautifully organized in Dolby Theater, Los Angeles, California.

The results have been announced and here is the list of the stars that shined the brightest.

 

The film Green Book won the Best Picture Award. You can see the cast and crew rejoicing above.

 

Actor Rami Malek won the Best Actor Award for the film Bohemian Rhapsody. He played the role of the legendary singer Freddy Mercury.

 

Actress Olivia Colman won the Best Actress Award for the Film The Favorite.

 

Actor Mahershala Ali won the Best Supporting Actor Award for the film Green Book.

 

 

Actress Regina King won the Best Supporting Actress Award for the film If Beale Street Could Talk. 

 

The Best Animated Feature Film Award went to the film Into the Spider-Verse. You can see the cast and crew of the animated film rejoicing above.

 

Director Alfonso Cuaron won the Best Director and Best Cinematography awards for the film Roma. He directed and acted as the cinematographer for the film and earned two Oscars in one night.

 

Ruth Carter won the  Best Costume Design Award for the film Black Panther. The film was the first one to earn an Oscar for Marvel Studios.

 

John Ottman won the Best Film Editing award for the film Bohemian Rhapsody. 

 

Greg Cannom, Kate Biscoe and Patricia Dehaney won the Best Makeup and Hairstyling award for the film Vice.

 

Ludwig Goransson won the Best Original Music Score Award for the Film Black Panther.

 

Singer Lady Gaga won the Best Original Song Award  for the song Shallow from the film A Star is Born. This is the first ever Oscar for the multi Grammy Award winning singer.

 

Hannah Beachler and  Jay Hart won the Best Production Design Award for the film Black Panther.

 

John Warhurst and Nina Hartstone won the Best Sound Editing Award for the film Bohemian Rhapsody.

 

Paul Lambert, Ian Hunter, Tristan Myles and J.D. Schwalm won the Best Visual Effects Award for the Film First Man.

 

Nick Vallelonga, Brian Currie, Peter Farrelly won the Best Original Screenplay Award for the film Green Book.
