Suriya’s upcoming flick NGK seems to be a complete political film that will see the actor once again talk more about politics. As of late, it has become a trend to yell at politicians through films. Even the new comer RJ Balaji has joined this entourage of actors who satirize the politicians.
The new teaser for the film that was released on Feb 13, paints Suriya’s character Nandha Goplan Kumaran as the man of the people. The entire screen is shaded in red and black till the end. We see Suriya in a pensive mood, while in another scene he is projected to be a farmer. He is shown to be loved by the people around him and everybody wants him to become a leader. That is how the trailer makes people feel.
In a time where politics and elections are on full swing, movies try to capitalize the mind and momentum of the society. In the recent time several actors have used cinema as their vehicle of propulsion into politics. Is Suriya going to join the race? We’ll know in time.
