The Road Safety Patrol students of PSG Polytechnic College conducted an awareness event in connection with Road Safety Week celebration. The Students were assisted by Students Union Faculty Advisor- V. Mohan Siva Kumar, N. Thampiraj, Road Safety Patrol Faculty Advisor and A. Kathiresan, NCC Officer.
The event was inaugurated by Kodiselvan, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic East), Coimbatore city, S. Sivaramakrishnan, Former Chief Traffic Warden, Tamil Nadu Police Traffic Wardens, Coimbatore and B. Giriraj, Principal, PSG Polytechnic College.
Everyone could see the cadets were not just standing by the signal, holding the signboards and guiding the two wheelers and four wheelers to wear the seat belts and helmets, but also appreciating those who followed the rules, by giving them smiley batches and chocolates.
