India’s stand-in captain Rohit Sharma wrote his name in history books as he became the highest run-getter in T20 Internationals. The Indian opener went past Martin Guptill of New Zealand while playing in the second T20 against New Zealand at the Eden Park in Auckland.
R.Sharma might have had a forgetful outing in the first T20 but that didn’t lower his spirit as he smashed 50 runs in style by hammering bowlers all across the park. India also went on to win the game by 7 wickets chasing 159 and thereby leveling the series 1-1
With one more game to go, India will look to accelerate and end their overseas tour on a high note.
