The Youth Red Cross and Lions Club of Hindustan College of Arts and Science organized National Youth Day to remember the 156th Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary within the college premises. The Presidential Address was delivered by A.Ponnusamy, Principal. The gathering was welcomed by Mohammed Rafiq Khan, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Lions Club.
Special lectures were delivered by the Resource Persons R. Karthikeyan, District Coordinator, Ekam Foundation, Coimbatore on “Children and Care”. T. Sheela, Counselor, Karunai Illam Rehabilitation Centre, Coimbatore delivered a lecture on “Alcohol Rehabilitation” Arun, Coordinator – Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program and Moorthi, District Coordinator – Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program delivered a lecture on “Awareness on Tuberculosis”.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by M.Selvapriya, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Lions Club. The programme was co-ordinated by S.Prabhu, Assistant Professor & Coordinator of Youth Red Cross Club.
