Tamilians across the globe celebrated Pongal- The festival of Harvest and the staff and students of National Model Matric Hr.Sec.School were not to be left behind.
Celebrating the festival with great zeal and fervor, students prepared Pongal in pots, decorated the campus with festoons, rangoli and sugarcane to create a festive atmosphere.
Traditional games and dances were performed to showcase the art and culture of Tamil Nadu. After offering prayers to Sun God, sweet Pongal was shared with all the students of the school.
