The delta region of Tamil Nadu is yet to recover from the aftermath of cyclone Gaja. Several cities and villages of the said region are in grave need of assistance. Youngsters, Social Activists, Welfare Groups, Non-For-Profit Associations have been working side by side with the government persistently to help the victims in this time of hardship.
In order to support them till normalcy returns, on behalf of Y’s Men International, Y’s Men’s Club of Coimbatore has been continuously supporting the affected people. So far the club was magnanimously donated relief materials worth Rs. 10 lakhs. Recently, the club sent relief material worth Rs. 2.5 lakhs to areas near Nagapattinam in 2 trucks with 12 volunteers from YMCA, Coimbatore. The materials that were taken to the area are Solar Lights, Mosquito Nets, Rice Bags, Bed Sheets and Roof Sheets. Y’s Men’s Club will distribute these materials with the help of Jaya Tv and News18 channel Crew Team.
