The National Service Scheme cell of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore jointly with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organized Yuva Samvad – India@2047 at Avinashilingam University on Saturday.
During the inauguration the Welcome address was by Dr. Radha, NSS programme Coordinator, Chief Guest address was given by Dr.Senthilkumar, State NSS Officer, Tamil Nadu NSS Cell, Chennai delivered a special speech to the gathering, in which he insisted on the role of youth in our country’s development.
The Chief Guest conveyed interesting stories to the students on how to be a proactive thinker as future generations and Dr. Geetha, Director, Women’s Studies Centre, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women delivered the special greetings to the gathering.
Special speech given by NSS volunteers of panch pran – Goal of Developed India, Remove any trace of slavery or colonial mindset, take pride in your heritage and legacy, Unity and Solidarity, Sense of duty among citizen and followed by Panch pran pledge. In this programme more than 200 volunteers participated.
