Commerce Department of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College, organized a Symposium on ‘Mindful Marketing for Startups’ at the NGP conference center, the inaugural ceremony started with an invocation by Jonathan Ezhil Bharathi. S from first year, Department of Commerce and he welcomed the gathering, it was followed by Presidential address by Prof. Dr.K. Ramamurthi, Principal of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and science College. Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswamy, Secretary of Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College and Dr. P.R. Muthuswamy, Director Academics, Dr. N.G.P. Educational Institutions felicitated the gathering in an expository manner.
The Significance of the symposium was highlighted by Dr.D. Parasakthi, Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce. Harshithaah. S of first year, department of commerce explicated the introduction to the chief guest.
The Guest Speaker initiated his speech by introducing himself as A.V.Gnanasambandam, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Agribusiness Incubation Society – Technology Business Incubator RKVY R– ABI Centre, NIDHI EIR Centre Startup India Seed Fund Centre, NIDHI PRAYAS Centre Director of Agribusiness Development, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, and Coimbatore provided detailed explanation on the topic “Mindfulness Marketing for Startups” and “Agricultural Startups”. And also participants form various institutions presented their papers at Dr. N.G.P. Conference Centre on “Marketing for Startups”.
At the end of valedictory session, prizes were awarded for the best three papers and certificates were distributed to all the participants. Conference ended with the vote of thanks by Aksharasree. G, from Second year B.Com. The Symposium on “Mindful Marketing for Startups” provided the knowledge on Startups,” students from various colleges actively participated and presented their papers on the symposium and felt the symposium to be fruitful as they were highly benefitted through this Symposium.
