Tribal villages get a bright new beginning!

For the tribal villagers of Dhumanur and Shembukarai, February 14 will always remain a red-letter day because their villages which did not have adequate electricity for long, have gained power-supply through the joined-efforts of CREDAI Coimbatore, Coimbatore City Round Table 31 and Ladies Circle 16.

A press release conveyed that the three organizations had undertaken an Electrification Project for the Tribal Villages earlier with the objective to light up the darkness and provide electricity for 53 houses in both locales. The project was successfully completed and the inauguration of power-supply was done by V.C Arukutty MLA, who also sponsored the deposit amount for the project.

The function was convened by Pradeep Rajappa, Area 7 Chairman – Round Table India, Dayanand Palaniswamy, Chairman – Coimbatore City Round Table 31, Sindhuja Dayanand, Chairperson – Ladies Circle 16,  Rohini Christopher, National Treasurer – Ladies Circle India, Surendar Vittel, President – Credai Coimbatore, Gugan Ilango, Vice President – CREDAI Tamil Nadu.
