Lotus Eye Hospital and Institute, RS Puram along with Rotary Coimbatore City and Camlin recently organized a drawing Competition for school students virtually. It was held in connection with World Sight Day. Over 600 school children from various schools participated.
The objective of this event was to create awareness in this region about the state of eyesight in the community. Anishka Nagaraj, Avila Convent; T.S.Sakthi Vandana , Vidya Nikethan Public School and P.Sarvesh, Lisieux School won the first prize in different categories.
Students from PSBB Millenium, Emerald Vallry Public School, Vidya Nikethan Public School Lisieux School, Aligarh Public School and Suguna PIP School shined by getting the top 3 prizes.
Udaya P S Menon, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, the Chief Guest. Vignesh Raj, Secretary, Lalith Kalakshetra and Coimbatore Art Foundation was the Guest of Honor; Sangeetha Sundaramoorthy Managing Director and Tamil Selvan, Vice President of Lotus Eye Hospital and Institute took part in the program.
