The launch of the start-up studio “Fiber & Fabric” from E-Box Colleges took place virtually. N.P. Karthik will be the CEO Fiber & Fabric and 5 students who cleared their interviews and exams will be the stakeholders.
The Chief Guest on the occasion, Shanmugavel, Ideator and Managing Director of CIBI Cotton Group shared his vision behind the Fiber and Fabric Startup Studio. He said, in Tirupur, Coimbatore and Erode there is a huge potential and markets are well established. Tirupur has Rs 50,000 crore business turnover every year and marketing, production and other processes need admin-oriented software with the latest updates.
There is a need to automate the entire process including weaving, hosiery and all industries will be benefited with this automation process proposed by this studio.
Karthik, former Manager, TCS &Cognizant & CEO of Fiber & Fabric inaugurated the startup studio and said, this startup studio will cover the entire supply chain. He said “We will take care from production to delivery of the cloth/garment and the entire process will be quality controlled with full automation. There will be minimal human intervention in the entire process and all the latest technology will be incorporated into the process.”
Students of colleges under E Box Jaijothi, Shanmuga college, Indhuja, UIT, Satish, Shanmuga College, Shalini, Shanmuga college and Suguna Devi, Shanmuga College will be student stakeholders with a 20% share in the company..
