The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology organized two days National level students Workshop on Applications of Thermal Engineering on 13th and 14th September 2019 under the sponsorship of TEQIP III.
The workshop focused on the application of Thermodynamic laws to IC engines, refrigeration systems, nozzles and steam power plant. Dr V Selladurai, Principal – CIT, Dr K Marimuthu, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Dr R Sriram, Dean – Exams, graced the workshop with their presence. Dr S Balamurugan & Mr D P Sam Solomon, Coordinators of the Workshop delivered the lectures on 13th September 2019. Dr K Mani, Professor and Principal, Panimalar Engineering College, Chennai and Dr K Punitharani, Assistant Professor, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore are delivering lectures on 14th September 2019. 70 students from different parts of TamilNadu participated in the workshop.
