On September 29, 2023, the National Service Program and National Cadet Corps of Avinashilingam Institute of Home Sciences and Higher Education for Women in Coimbatore celebrated ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ with Tamil Nadu Chinese Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Coimbatore.
During the event, 120 NSS volunteers and NCC cadets cleaned the TWAD campus, planted 500 saplings and took the Panch Pran pledge of “My land, my country”.
The event was inaugurated by Er.K.Chellamuthu, Chief Engineer and Er.S.Meera, Executive Engineer TWAD Coimbatore Board and other officials of TWAD also participated in the event. The entire event was coordinated by Dr T. Radha, NSS Program Coordinator, Dr R. Shanthi and Dr V.Malarvizhi Deputy Officer of NCC.
