Rapido Auto is planning to launch Micro-Loans, Family Health Insurance, and Reduced Commissions for its Women Auto Captains in Coimbatore

Rapido, India’s leading auto and bike-taxi aggregator, reaffirms its commitment to gender empowerment by extending a comprehensive support initiative to women auto captains in Coimbatore. Building on its successful launch in Chennai, Rapido Auto now empowers women auto captains in Coimbatore with micro-loans, family health insurance, and reduced commissions, making it even more accessible for them to thrive in the ride-hailing industry.

 

Rapido has over 50 active female captains currently in Coimbatore, hailing from diverse and challenging backgrounds. However, the Company aims to onboard more than 200 active captains in the next 3 months through collaborations with various Coimbatore-based NGOs. Rapido will equip these women captains with essential safety and driving skills through comprehensive training programs in collaboration with NGOs. This initiative will enable women to earn between Rs. 800 to Rs. 1000 per day, translating to a monthly income of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000. To mark the announcement of these empowering initiatives in Coimbatore, Rapido Auto has also organised an informative session and registration event at the Rapido Auto Coimbatore Office.
