The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity, in collaboration with Sindhi International School, organized an event titled “Origami: Commemorating Hiroshima Day” on August 5th, 2023. The program aimed to educate students about the Hiroshima incident and Japan’s subsequent resurgence. Certified District Trainer Rtr. Varshini conducted an informative session on the Hiroshima issue, emphasizing resilience. Rtr. Viveka Surya led an engaging Origami workshop, symbolizing transformation through art. A quiz featuring Hiroshima-related questions, hosted by Rtr. Subash, fostered interactive learning. Project Chair Rtr. Nandhana Sri and President Rtr. Maikchelraj led the event, supported by Rtr. Mehala, Rtr. Aghil, Rtr. Pugazhenthi, and Rtr. Subash. The event left a positive impact, imparting lessons of strength, creativity, and hope, inspiring students and Rotaractors alike to confront challenges with determination.
