Dr Rajasekaran Shanmuganathan, an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, received the prestigious ‘Sir JC Bose Lifetime Achievement Award’ at a ceremony held at Dr Ambedkar Law University Campus in Taramani, Chennai. The award, instituted by the Indian Science Monitor in memory of Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, was presented to Dr Shanmuganathan for his remarkable achievements in orthopaedic surgery. He has been ranked among the top 1% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University and holds the record for the highest number of research papers published in renowned peer-reviewed journals in his field.
