On International Creativity and Innovation Day 2023, a webinar was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII), Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. In order to celebrate this day, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Directorate of Agribusiness Development organized an online seminar with EDII on Friday for the benefit of students.
The event was presided over by Somasundaram, Director (ABD), Directorate of Agribusiness Development, TNAU. He stressed the importance of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in agriculture. Muthuraman, Additional Director of EDII delivered the welcome address online. Sivarajah, MD & CEO, TANSIM, Chennai encouraged the students on innovation and entrepreneurship strategies. Also, young entrepreneurs like Harini, Chitra and Sankaralingam also interacted with the students and encouraged them. More than two thousand students from a constituent and affiliated colleges of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University participated in this event online as per the arrangement of Entrepreneurship Cell Coordinators of respective colleges. Muralidharan, Associate Professor (HRM) and Dheenadayalan, Field Coordinator organized the event.
