The 35th Annual Sports Day of CMS College of Science & Commerce was celebrated in the college premises, on Friday. Colonel Dinesh Singh Tanwer, Commanding Officer of 110 infantry Battalion, (Territorial Army) Madras, the Citizens Army at Coimbatore was the Chief Guest.
Principal Balakrishnan welcomed the gathering. Rajagopalan, Chairman of CMS Educational & Charitable Trust presided over the function.
The Chief Guest emphasised the essentials of sports and sports man’s spirit in individuals that lead to a disciplined life and creates a perfect personality.
Devaraj, Head of the Department of Physical Education presented the annual report. The chief guest and the dignitaries distributed prizes for the winners of the various sports event conducted for the academic year 2022 – 2023.
