The North Star Summit at NGPiTECH

Rotary Coimbatore North has organized the North Star Summit “A Conference on Student Leadership and Growth” in association with Dr N. G. P. Institute of Technology (An Autonomous Institution), on Wednesday at the NGP Conference Centre. Over 800 engineering students from various branches attended the conference. The session focused on topics such as Innovation and creativity for Social Change, goal setting, time management, conflict resolution, and the Importance of Mental Health.

Adv. AKS.Rtn Sundaravadivelu, DGN, RO District 3201 was the Chief Guest for this Event. He highlighted the need for empowering students with the skills to become effective leaders. Rtn. Prabhu, President, Rotary Coimbatore North and Prabha, Principal, Dr N. G. P. Institute of Technology and Rtn. Vivekanandan, RYLA Chairman, RCC North addressed this event.

Thavamani D Palaniswami, Secretary, Dr N. G. P. Institute of Technology highlighted the importance of leadership quality for students. Jayagopal, Managing Director, Mithran Structures, discussed the Future Outlook for Engineers, the power of networking and building strong relationships, and Venkatesh, MD, Gene Macron Media Interactive India Pvt Ltd, talked about “ Persuasive Story Telling”- How to engineer your Story.

RTn. Padmanaban Gopalan, Founder, No food Waste, Karunamoorthy, Managing Director, Wind Plus and Aarthi, Founder, Mentor, of Skills for an Enriched life and Suganya Priyadharshini, Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry, KMCH, and Sivakumar Palaniappan Founder & Director, Thinkfluence Global delivered their keynote address.
