ICCIC Inaugurated a Pilot Project on Infection Prevention

The Indian chamber of Commerce and Industry Coimbatore has inaugurated a pilot project for ‘Strengthening Infection Prevention and Control Waste Management’ at Chamber Towers, Avinasi Road, Coimbatore, on Tuesday. This was inaugurated by Sandeep Kumar Nayak IAS, Director General of National Productivity Council New Delhi in the presence of Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA of Coimbatore Constituency, and Sriramulu, the President of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Coimbatore accompanied with Office Bearers.

 

Sandeep Kumar said, “It is a big opportunity for the National Productivity Council to work with the Coimbatore Chamber of Commerce project on Infection Control and Biological Waste Management. We’re happy to be re-associated with the very critical aspect of our health care which is infection control”.

This is the pilot project taken up by the National productivity council with the help of the Asia Productivity Organization Tokyo, particularly in KG Hospital, KMCH, PSG Hospital, Shanthi Hospital, Ramakrishna Hospital, VG Hospital, Karpagam Hospital, Ganga Hospital, Gem Hospital, Aravind Hospital, GKNM Hospital at Coimbatore. In each hospital, two nurses will be selected for the training with certification
