Recently, the members of RCK organized and took part in the polio awareness rally at Kovaipudur. More than 30 cars participated in the rally bearing the polio awareness posters and wearing the end polio caps.
Chief guest, Lion’s Governor PMJF S. Ramkumar flagged off the polio awareness rally. AG Rtn. P. Sankaranarayanan and WGM District Coordinator Rtn. P. Padmakumar joined and highlighted the rally.
During the event, RCK handed over the cheque worth $ 960 for 48 members followed by the individual contribution of value $ 500 to the polio fund of the rotary foundation. The total contribution is worth upto $ 1460. The cheques were received by the WGM District coordinator.
Sweets and savories worth Rs. 20,000/- were distributed along with new dress materials worth Rs. 7500/- at Surya Marbles. The 3 projects were successfully executed during the event
