DJAME’s Global Connect
D.J. Academy for Managerial Excellence organized an event as a part of Global Connect, an International Lecture Series recently.
Ilamparithi Jayabalan, Country Head – Foreign Exchange, Thomas Cook Lanka Pvt. Limited, Sri Lanka, interacted with DJAME students on ‘Fintech & Forex’.
The resource person gave an overview of the Fintech Industry and its fintech landscape in India. He discussed the current trends in Fintech Industry like Robo Advising, contactless Payments, BNPL, Open Banking, Digital banking/Neo banking, Blockchain and Regtech.
He also shared his thoughts on the future trends in the fintech industry like account aggregation, ONDC, and Regulatory Sandboxes. He also dwelt in detail about Forex – the inward remittance, outward remittance, the products, various intermediaries, and the types of Licences required for Forex business.
The session was followed by a Q & A session. Students, faculty members of DJAME, took part in this interaction initiative.
