CM taking efforts to provide smart governance

Chief Minister M.K.Stalin is taking all efforts to digitize all the departments of Tamil Nadu to provide better governance & smart governance to the people of the State, said IT Minister Mano Thangaraj on Tuesday.

He said this at the launch of Amazon India’s new office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin; which is the 4th in Tamil Nadu and the 2nd largest in India.

At the event, Minister Mano Thangaraj said that the Chief Minister has created a conducive ecosystem in Tamil Nadu that is making investors prefer Tamil Nadu, which was not what the previous administration had done.

The Minister shared that he had spoken with a few investors who had left Tamil Nadu in the past, and he learned from them that the attitude of the previous administration of Tamil Nadu nor their approach were conducive.

He added that the M.K.Stalin-led Tamil Nadu Government has been hailed by many for maintaining peace and law & order in the State and for giving a transparent and easily-approachable administration.

The goal set by the CM that Tamil Nadu should achieve 1 trillion $ economy by 2030 is achievable soon with more investors choosing Tamil Nadu.

Minister Thangaraj said that Tamil Nadu has a great number of talented individuals and there are many higher educational institutions here that are providing quality education.

He underlined that though there are many youths with degree certificates, a portion of them are not industry-ready to get employed. He said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, efforts to find the skill gap in such people will be made, and they will be empowered with the required skills.

The ICT Academy under the IT Department will play a major role in providing skills in emerging technology and future skills.
