The Department of Radiology at GEM hospital conducted a two day CME and workshop on Hepato Pancreatic Biliary and GI imaging at GEM Hospital and Research Centre, Coimbatore. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Prof. C. Palanivelu, chairman of GEM hospital who also explained the benefits of such workshops for doctors and residents in training for skill enhancement and knowledge dissemination for improving quality and efficiency of patient care and treatment.
Organizing Secretary Dr. P. Kuppuraj, Dr. AL. Periyakaruppam explained about importance of Radiological assessment in patient care and stressed on the medical fraternity to popularize such workshops and CME.
Also present was Dr. Avinash Nanivadekar, Director and Partner, Radiology Services, Ruby Hall clinic at Pune. The day long CME events included tasks from many eminent national faculties including Dr. Karthik Ganesan, Mumbai, Dr. K.S. Murugan, Dr. K. Gopinathan and Dr. Arun Ramraj. The speakers were felicitated by organizing Chairman Dr. B. Srikanth.
