It was a red letter day for Kumaraguru Institutions for; the 150-acre campus began a third distinct learning space- Kumaraguru College for Liberal Arts and Science following the success of Kumaraguru College of Technology and KCT Business School.
KCLAS in its first academic year will offer four disciplines of study in undergraduate programmes like English Literature, Visual Communication, Business Administration and B.Com (Professional Accounting).
On the first day, students were initiated into a formal, structured 5-day orientation programme that took them through the process of a transformational roadmap. The orientation program will cover varied aspects towards realization of individual growth potential over a three year period; from films and specific reading modules, interactive sessions with eminent personalities, activities and vice- versa.
The learning experience at KCLAS promises to be distinct as students will gain experience from several cross-disciplinary programmes, ranging from sciences to fine arts.
