Kumaraguru College of Technology has organized a Combined Annual Training Camp and ThalSainik Training Camp from 19th– 28th June. The program was organized by 5 TN GIRLS (BN) NCC Coimbatore. There were 518 participants from 13 schools and 17 colleges.
Training is being imparted to the cadets in various service subjects like drill, weapon training, Map Reading, Field Craft, Judging distance, besides lectures on Health and Hygiene, First Aid, Ecology and Environment, Disaster Management, Civil defense, Organization and Role of NCC, Duties of citizen and Social Service.
Camp Commandant, Col. Nalin Mohan, welcomed all NCC cadets and Associate NCC Officers. He is also imparting training to ThalSainik Camp team of Coimbatore group who will represent the Group in inter-group TSC competition at Madurai next month.
In theory session the cadets are taught topics that are necessary for A Cert for Junior Wing (JW) cadets, B Cert and C Cert exams for Senior Wing (SW) cadets and which include Health and Hygiene,Signal Communication, First aid.
