In connection with World Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital joined hands with Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy to launch its Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative on Monday.
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Writer and Film Director was the Chief Guest of this event. Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Vice Chairperson, KMCH and Rtn. Shanthi Rajasekar, First Lady, RI Dist 3201 and G. Venugopal, Chairman, Naidu Hall were the Guests of Honor. Other Rotary members and Doctors of KMCH were present.
During the program,KMCH launched its month-long Breast Screening Camp, at a discounted price of Rs. 1000.
Also at the event,Mastectomy brassière packs have been announced to be provided by Naidu Hall to the women who require it.
