Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC) recently conducted its 15th Graduation Day programme at the college premises.
Nearly, 1220 graduates were given graduation certificates in this programme. 4 Ph.Ds and 3 M.Phil Graduates were also given degree certificates. In the graduation ceremony about 31 rank holders were also honoured, a release said.
Dr.Ranjan Bandyopadhyay, Global Vice-President, TATA Consultancy Services, the Chief Guest gave away the graduation certificates to the graduates.
‘The graduates have brighter opportunities in the job market. The organizations are looking for those who excel in their fields. Job market is day by day changing. The marks scored cannot help to come up in the life. That may be a passport to get into, but to retain the position, you have to apply your own capabilities. Education is not alone life. We have to inculcate various skills for prosperous life,’ said Dr.Ranjan Bandyopadhyay.
Earlier, S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee of Sri Krishna Institutions initiated the graduation day programme. Dr.K.Sundararaman, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions, Principal Dr.P.Baby Shakila, Vice-Principal Dr.R.Vijayasamundeshwari, Professors, graduates, parents, participated.
