M.K. Stalin’s DMK predicted to take over reins of Tamil Nadu

If Exit Polls are to be believed, then it is going to be an easy victory for the DMK in the State Assembly Election, which was held on April 6.  Before the official counting of votes and announcement of results, exit polls are declared by media after compiling fresh opinions from voters right after they had cast their vote.

Generally exit polls are considered to be an early and apt predicter of outcomes.  Exit Polls from Times Now-CVoter and India Today – Axis My India among others have predicted M.K.Stalin led DMK to win this election by huge number.  The majority mark is 118 out of the 234 constituencies.

“As per the Times Now-CVoter Exit Poll, the DMK+ is expected to win 166 seats (160-172 range) compared to the 98 seats it had won in the last elections in 2016. AIADMK+ is expected to bag just 64 seats (58-70 range) – 70 seats down from the 2016 tally of 134″ . “India Today-Axis My India exit poll predicts assembly 38-54 seats for the ruling AIADMK and 175-195 seats for MK Stalin’s DMK.”

Prediction for Coimbatore Constituencies from Thanthi TV’s Exit Poll:

DMK and its allies are projected to take Valparai, Singanallur and Kavundamapalayam Constituencies.   ADMK is projected to take Pollachi, Kinathukadavu, Sulur, Mettupalayam, Thondamuthur, Coimbatore North Constituencies.  Coimbatore South will witness a tug of war like scenario. However other exit polls have given MNM a chance to win 1 seat in this election.  Will it be Coimbatore South? No clue so far. While these are excellent predictions, for the exact result, we all need to wait for May 2. The Cat will be out of the Bag soon!
