Varsity’s 5 works of intellect secured with copyrights

3 professors of Bharathiar University have penned totally 5 books in the last 2 years, and all of them have received Copyright Protection.

The varsity conveyed the importance of obtaining patents/copyrights for a work of intellect and creativity recently via a press release, and shared that its Intellectual Property Rights Cell is aiding the creators from the university to secure their works from intellectual theft.

Prof.Sumathy has authored 2 books – Perception of Women on New Economic Policy and Evaluative Model on Perception of Users towards E-Governance Practices.

Prof. Sundarabalu S.Alpasi has also penned 2 books – Unavum Vinaiyum (Poronmaikkala Amaippiyal Aaivu) and Occupational Implements: A Linguistics Study. Prof.M.Dhanabhakayam has written a book titled Employee Talent Development in Indian IT Companies.

Prof.Parimelazhagan, Director of Intellectual Property Rights Cell took measures to help the creators receive the copyright security. The copyrights have been obtained in the name of the university, and are valid for 60 years. The press-release hinted that the royalty will be shared by the authors and the varsity.
