Sharat Chandar from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, emerged victorious in the Cluster 6 Finals of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2021, the maiden online edition of India’s largest business quiz for campuses.
The Cluster 6 Finals representing the regions of Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Dindigul, Theni, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tenkasi, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Namakkal, Vellore, Tirupathur, Perambalur, Kallakurichi and Tiruvannamalai was a thrilling affair, with participants showcasing their quick thinking and sharp quizzing abilities.
Sharat took home a cash prize of Rs.35, 000 and will now compete in the Zonal Finals to qualify for the National Finals. Shivansh Mishra from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore was declared runner-up, winning a cash price of Rs.18, 000.
The road to victory is long for Sharat. Whosoever becomes the National Champion of this event will receive a grand prize of Rs. 2.5 lakh along with the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy.
