NEET Awareness Program held at Dr.NGP College

“To achieve anything, one must be prepared to face the challenges”, said SPN Sharavanan, Chairman, The Green Park Career Academy while addressing medical aspirants from various parts of Tamil Nadu who were gathered at a NEET Awareness program held at Dr.NGP Arts and Science College on Sunday. It was organized by the NGP School and The Green Park Career Academy.

The Green Park Academy has produced greater number of successful NEET aspirants in the past 4 years. Looking at the academy’s 2020 NEET performance, 923 students from the academy got MBBS Admission in Government’s Quota. Sharavanan was at the awareness program to inspire the aspirants further, and he said the students should first be bold, prepared and focused to face NEET. “If you are afraid of it, you cannot win. So be bold”, he conveyed.

He said in Coimbatore Medical College alone 100 new seats have been introduced this year, and that is a valuable opportunity for students here. He suggested them to focus on NCERT syllabus and +1, +2 Science subjects . Again and again he stressed the students to restrict their usage of smartphones when they are in +1 and +2 because of the distraction they cause, and recommended them to start preparing for NEET.

He shared that 9th and 10th standards are the foundation-years for NEET, and the next 2 years are crucial. But if they prepare well, know which subject is their strong suites, and which need much attention, they can certainly excel. “For the students of Tamil Nadu, Physics remains the hardest subject whereas they find Biology to be an easy one”, he shared and continued to say that his team of coaching staff who are from different regions of the country, had often said that Tamil Nadu students are very disciplined and hardworkers.

He said that when it comes to NEET, planning is important. By planning he meant the time taken for a subject, time spent on improving oneself in his weaker subjects and time that is wasted due to distractions. He conveyed them the value of medical profession, and its nobility, and asked them to prepare with dedication.

During the event, it was announced that The NGP School and Green Park Career Academy have tied up to provide an Intergrated program to the students at NGP School. The experts from the Academy will teach and train the students of +1 and +2 for board as well as NEET in Science Subjects. The Question Bank , Faculty and Counselling will be given by Green Park. Dr.Thavamani D.Palaniswami,Correspondent of The NGP School said to the aspirants that only through continuous hard work, continous excellence will rise. She wished the students to be focused and work smart and hard.
