Tips for a healthy heart

Today many young people are getting heart attack. There are many causes to it but first we should explore ways to keep ourself safe from it.

You should exercise for 150 minutes a week and avoid sedentary lifestyles. After one hour of sitting quietly, you should walk for 5 minutes to help your legs and muscles, which will help your heart.

When you take food, choose healthy options. Oily food should be avoided. Food that is rich is omega-3 fatty acids that includes vegetables and fish is good for heart. Maintain your body weight ideall, for that first measure your height in centimetres. If you are height is 175 cms, for instance reduce 100 from it. What remains from it (75) should be your ideal body weight. Heart risk increases if you exceed the ideal weight for your height.

Cut smoking immediately. Its effect lasts even after five to ten years even after quitting. People who have had a heart-attack must never touch a cigarette again. Above all a positive approach to manage stress like yoga meditation can be taken.
