Take care of students’ wellbeing – Dr.KPR 

KPR College of Arts Science and Research celebrated National Teacher’s Day recently. The program was arranged by the college’s School of Commerce.   Former Headmaster of N.G.N.G. Higher Secondary School in Reddiarur, Pollachi and Best Teacher Awardee R. Krishnaswamy took part in the event as the Chief Guest. 

Dr. K. P. Ramasamy, Chairman – KPR Group in his Presidential Address shared his views on  teaching. He asked the participating teachers to take an oath that they shall take care of health, wellness and students’ wellbeing.

While offering felicitation, Dr. S. Balusamy, the college’s Principal  spoke about his teacher and his devotion to discipline. He conveyed how he provided educational support to his  students from his income. 

The Chief Guest R.Krishnaswamy shared his teaching career experience, teaching ethics and moral values. He highlighted the life-experiences of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and 9th  President of India  Shankar Dhayal Sharma to motivate the faculty members.

Earlier Dr. K. Kumuthadevi, Dean – School of Commerce, KPRCAS welcomed the gathering. At the end of the program, Dr. S. Vanitha, Associate Professor – School of Management of the college proposed Vote of Thanks.
