Inspection Committee inspects central kitchen of Nallaramm Trust

Nallaramm Trust has joined hands with the Coimbatore Corporation and is feeding the needy in the district. The food is cooked at Vignesh Mahal Kalyana Mandapam at Puliakulam for thousands daily. This acts as the central kitchen for the Trust’s food donation activity.

As a part of COVID-19 Prevention activities, a Field Inspection Committee comprising of E.Saravanavelraj, IAS, Director, Geology & Mining, Tamil Nadu; R.Gajalakshmi, IAS, Chairperson & Managing Director, Small Industries Development Corporation Limited (SIDCO), J.Sravan Kumar, Corporation Commissioner, S.Prasanna Ramasamy, Deputy Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation and P. Gandhimathi, District Revenue Officer (DRO) (Stamps), Coimbatore inspected the food preparation activities.

Nallaramm Trust member explained to the officials that the food is prepared with high standards and the products used for cooking are of high quality. ‘We wish this food to be like feast and not feel like mere donation’
