The total positive COVID-19 cases in Tamil Nadu as of Thursday (23.4.2020) is 1683. According to the data from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the State has 54 new cases today and the death count so far is 20. On the brighter side 90 patients have recovered from COVID-19. The Ministry said that for the last 14 days, no new cases were reported in 78 districts. Total recovered cases in TN is now 752.
In Coimbatore, 22 patients who suffered from Novel Coronavirus infection got cured and returned home. No new Corona cases were registered in Coimbatore. Chennai registered 27 Covid-19 cases today, which made it the most affected city. It has totally 400 cases. Chennai, Covai and Tirupur are the top 3 affected districts while Pudukottai, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri are the least affected districts.
On a National level, India has 21,700 total cases and the death toll is now at 686.
